September Reflections — His grace in you!
September Reflections—His grace in you!
Ephesians 1:12 says that you are a Reflector of the glory of His grace. (Hebrew lashaqaph – reflect, mirror, make visible)
For God Who said, “Light shall shine out of darkness,” is the One who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, so that the surpassing greatness of the power will be of God and not from ourselves. 2 Corinthians 4:6-7
O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt His name together. Psalm 34:3
The rainbow is a brilliant, arched spectrum in the sky created when sunlight refracts and reflects through droplets of water.
When the sunlight enters the density of a droplet, its color components each refract at different angles. The separated colors reflect back through the droplet toward the earth, and we are able to see the beauty!
The sun is too bright for us to view directly, but we can look at a rainbow that reflects the sun’s rays.
When we receive Jesus (John 1:12), His Spirit lives in us! We are not even aware that the Lord refracts and reflects through the facets of our personalities making His love tangible and receivable to those around us by the Holy Spirit. He shines through us even when we are going through difficult times.
The Apostle Paul explained that we, as the recipients of the Lord’s lavish kindness, “would be to the praise of His glory.” Ephesians 1:12
