Living in His Undeserved Love
Shale Fragments™ - devotionals by Beth Ann Phifer
It has been about two weeks since my brother, Doug, passed away at 59 years old.
We cried and grieved.
We persevered through arrangements.
Afterward, Dusty and I kept our plans for a five-day get-away with friends into the beautiful fall landscape of Old Mission Peninsula in Michigan.
I returned sick.
Today, energy returns.
I thirst for the Living Water of my Savior.
Just Him and me.
A Beautiful Gift for that Special Person — Loaded with Encouragement for the Entire Year
Are you looking for the perfect gift for that special person? Our colorful, high-quality Who I Am Journal Collection began as an act of praise to my Father for His beautiful promises in Ephesians, Chapter 1. I began to paint all the names He has given me as His child. This Collection contains 12 of these names, but there are certainly more! I spread all my watercolors out and began to paint large, sweeping, watercolor letters with a pointed brush.
The Ministry of Card-Writing
The ministry of writing and giving cards is easy with Flower Girl Greetings Art Cards. One of our missions from the very beginning has been to make it easy to share the power of God’s Word in a tangible way to those who are struggling, celebrating, or just need to know someone cares.
October 11 — My Annual Celebration Day of Deliverance!
On September 26, 1998, I had a complete nervous breakdown. I didn’t have a clue what had happened to me. On October 11, 2001, I walked out of my Christian counselor’s office for the last time… declared well, healed, delivered. This three-year, tormentuous crucible could only be compared to either a volcanic explosion that left total devastation in its wake or a grenade explosion that left everything separated in tiny, tiny pieces. Would I ever be whole again? I wondered.
On September 30 and Every Day, We Celebrate His Return!
The Feast of Trumpets is from the Feasts of Israel Fulfilled Collection. To see the card in its Collection, please click here.
The Feast of Trumpets will be celebrated this year on September 30th and will begin at sunset the evening before. It falls on the new moon of the 7th Hebrew month Tishrei.
God appointed seven yearly feasts for the Israelites to observe (found in Leviticus 23) to foretell and foreshadow Jesus’ life, sacrifice, death, burial, resurrection and return!
September Reflections—His grace in you!
Ephesians 1:12 says that you are a Reflector of the glory of His grace. (Hebrew lashaqaph – reflect, mirror, make visible)
For God Who said, “Light shall shine out of darkness,” is the One who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, so that the surpassing greatness of the power will be of God and not from ourselves. 2 Corinthians 4:6-7
O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt His name together. Psalm 34:3
Jesus said, “You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you would go and bear fruit and that your fruit would remain…” (John 15:16a) Father chose us in Jesus before the foundation of the world that we would be holy and blameless before Him. (Ephesians 1:4)
"Whoever receives one child like this in My name receives Me; and whoever receives Me does not receive Me, but Him who sent Me." Mark 9:37
This is Amanda, Beth Ann's Communications Designer and artist of The Humbly Bumbly Bee greetings and gifts—now available at FlowerGirlGreetings.com. I am absolutely delighted that Beth Ann has asked me to share a message with you about a very special way to use our new line of Cards for Children!
Zephaniah's Song, He Quiets Me.
Sometimes I have days. Days with disturbance in my emotions or mind. Days when I look up to my Father and ask for mercy and clarity. Last Monday was one of those days. Words that would describe my emotions were “limited, constricted, disquieted.” A friend listened to my heart and prayed for me. I went to my Father’s Word. Ahhh!
I am Sealed! Blessings in July!
I pray blessings on your month of July! I recently learned that the word “Blessed” (used in the Sermon on the Mount in Matthew 5 and other passages) means “satisfied in the indwelling Holy Spirit.” I pray that, no matter what I’m going through or how I feel, I will be grateful and have an undercurrent of satisfaction in the Holy Spirit Who indwells me. Thank you, Lord, for choosing me out of this world for You and Your kingdom to live in love with You!
I am Sealed.
The Who I am Journal Collection is loaded with 12 months of encouragement for you, a friend, or anyone who needs comfort and hope. The beautiful word for July is SEALED!

The Veil has been torn!
The Day of Atonement Art Card is from the Feasts of Israel Fulfilled Collection at www.flowergirlgreetings.com
On that Roman execution stake, Yeshua cried, “It is finished!” Our sin was crushed and our redemption was secured. The thick veil was torn from top to bottom and opened wide to welcome us into God’s presence! The deep tones of these ancient blue, purple, and crimson dyes were extracted from the mollusks found along the eastern Mediterranean Sea. Their vibrant hues declare the message – There is no fear, only peace and joy!
Our First Fruits
The Feast of First Fruits is celebrated on the Sunday that falls after Passover during The Feast of Unleavened Bread. It is a day of praise to the Lord for the early spring harvest and His reviving of the earth after the winter’s repose.
Blessings, love and shalom to you, dear friends, during this month of renewal, refreshing rains and resurrection!
Our mission at Flower Girl Greetings is to magnify the beauty of God’s Word and make it easy for you to share powerful encouragement in a tangible and lasting way with art cards and Bible study tools!
